On Friday 10th October, we visited Newry Museum to take part in a Vikings’ workshop. Before we started, we were given a tour of the museum itself. We learnt a lot about the history of Newry.
The Vikings’ workshop was led by Freya, a Viking tradeswoman. She stayed in character the entire time. Freya taught us about what life was like as a Viking. She really brought our learning in school to life.
