On Monday 7th November, Mr Nigel Ireland from the Ulster Orchestra delivered a special workshop to the whole school. This was a wonderful experience for all of the children. Nigel played a range of pieces from Frozen, Toy Story and Despicable Me. He also taught us all about the instruments included in an Orchestra. We learned about strings, brass, woodwind and percussion. Nigel very kindly visited the school ahead of the choir trip to see the Ulster Orchestra on Tuesday 15th November. This will be be an excellent concert and we can’t wait to share photos of this next week!
