Celebration Assembly
Today we celebrated those who give up their time to provide us with opportunities to develop new skills or to be part of something we might otherwise not have been involved in.
Thank you to Gary Day and The Live Music Now Project who have given our P4-P7 children from our SNUG class a great opportunity to learn about music.
Congratulations to McCrory Cup winners and past pupils Jack Ruddy and Ryan O’Hare. We are incredibly proud of your achievements.
Thank you to Warrenpoint GAA club. We are very lucky to have so many wonderful coaches who come to our school to share their skills with our pupils in hurling, camogie and Gaelic football. Special thanks to Conor Keenan, Niall Rice and David Ruddy for giving so much of their time to our school. Thank you to Mrs Eimear Rice who is always searching for ways to give us as many opportunities as she can to develop a GAA culture throughout the school.
Thank you to Yvonne McFerron, Chairperson of Warrenpoint GAA Camogie, who presented our own St Dallan’s Camogie Team with medals that they won last week at the County Cumann Na mBunscol Final in Castlewellan. Although the girls didn’t win on this occasion, they made history for our school by reaching the County finals.
We also celebrated those children who have represented our school throughout the year including; Our boys football team, girls football team, hurlers, camoges, children who have attended various matches throughout the year, including Croke Park!, gymnasts, quiz winners, Irish dancing team, school choir, choral speakers and feis participants and winners. Well done everyone!
