Following on from a very successful Anti-Bullying Week 2023 we had over 50 winners in our poster competition from across the school.
This year's theme 'Make A Noise About Bullying' was one that the children took full ownership off and the posters showed the understanding the children had right across all year groups.
We want the children to know that in our school:
- Everyone deserves to be happy
- We show respect to everyone
- Making fun of someone, their appearance, their family or just being mean is not funny or fun - if it is ongoing then it can become bullying behaviour and will be treated as such
- Don't be silent if you see bullying taking place - SPEAK OUT
- Tell if you are worried about someone being unkind to you or others
- Stand up to those who are showing bullying behaviours - make noise by being resilient and using your loud voice - say NO! GO AWAY! LEAVE ME ALONE! and tell

If someone hurts you this does not make them a bully, but it is wrong, and it must be sorted out properly through our behaviour policy and using the agreed sanctions (Time Out etc)so please tell; if this hurtful behaviour continues then we will investigate to see if it is bullying behaviour and we will involve all adults who need to be involved.
